Veterinary scheduling and availability software

The weekly pattern behind every bookable slot

Availability is not a separate calendar. It is the rule that decides which slots exist in the diary, so booking can never put someone where they are not.

  • A pattern per person
  • Leave and closures respected
  • Cover across the week

The problem

A diary that offers a time nobody is there for

When the rota lives on a wall and the diary lives in software, the two drift apart within a week — and the cost is a client booked in on a day their vet is on leave. Availability here is not a second calendar to keep in step; it is the rule that decides which slots exist at all.

A pattern per person

Hours per day with a break, per day of the week, for every doctor and staff member.

Checked against clinic hours

Match the practice’s hours in one click, and get a warning when a pattern falls outside them.

Cover across the week

See how many people are on each day the practice is open — and which day has nobody.

Leave, half days and closures

Requests are made and approved in the console; approved leave and closures take the slots out of the diary.

Connected to booking

Clients can only request, and the desk can only book, inside these hours.

What decides a slot

Four rules, applied before anybody can book

  1. 01

    The weekly pattern

Hours per day with a break, per day of the week, for every doctor and staff member.

  2. 02

    The practice’s own hours

Match them in one click, and get a warning when somebody’s pattern falls outside them.

  3. 03

    Approved leave

Requested and approved in the console — including half days — and taken out of the diary once approved.

  4. 04

    Practice closures

A closed day is closed to everybody: no client can request through it and the desk cannot book into it.

Cover

Which day has nobody on it

The week shows how many people are on each day the practice is open, so a gap is something you see before a client finds it.

  • Cover per day across the whole team
  • A warning when a pattern falls outside clinic hours
  • Leave requests made and approved in one place

Connected to booking

The diary can only offer what exists

Clients can only request, and the front desk can only book, inside these hours — which is why availability is the quiet half of appointment scheduling rather than an administrative chore.

FAQ

Questions about availability and scheduling

Clients request appointments from their app or your practice website: what is wrong, when they can come and which vet they prefer. The practice then confirms a slot, offers alternatives or declines. The front desk can also book directly, and clients are emailed when the diary changes.

Yes. Only the hours somebody actually works can be booked. Availability patterns, buffers between appointments, approved leave and practice closures all take slots out of the diary automatically.

Everything else is on the full FAQ, and every capability on the features page.
